Dagenham and Redbridge not set to make a loan signing

The Daggers are not set to be busy with the impending loan window closure as manager John Still alludes to quiet night ahead, according to the Barking and Dagenham Post.

Despite Still indicating that the team is in desperate need of more goals, a loan deal will not be the solution considering the side already have the maximum of five loan players within the matchday squad.

Dagenham and Redbridge are currently anchored to the bottom of League Two after only one win in their last 13 games. It is therefore no surprise that the side have the worst scoring record in the league.

The Daggers have been rotted at the bottom end of League Two for the whole season with their highest league position 20th place.

Manager John Still commented, “I don’t think I’ll be too busy (on Thursday) if I’m honest, I’ve got a clear thing in my mind of what I want to do and I’ll follow on with that,”

With only 8 games left, the Daggers would have to claw back a 9 point deficit to lift them from the relegation zone, not impossible, but a tough ask.

With the manager uninterested in making any new signings, the club will have to make do with the squad they already have and hopefully inject some life into a relegation bound team.
