Burton retain their Six point lead at the top of the League One table, in a thrilling 4-0 victory over Port Vale.
The score was unexpected as the last four games at Vale Park were all lost, the last game a 7-1 defeat.
The Brewers had a great day, but it wasn’t so great for the Vale fans, whose dreams of the Play-offs dwindle.
#pvfc a disappointing game is understatement – #bafc were organised and disciplined and we didn't cope at all – men against boys – on 2 nxt

To vale fans blaming the referee for today… Yes he was poor but I don't think we can point the finger at him after a 4-0 defeat #pvfc

But obviously some Vale fans still believe in the dream of promotion to the championship.
Today is best forgotten. Dust ourselves & go again. Season not over yet despite today. Easter weekend is all important #pvfc.

For the Brewers fans it was a great day, for all 858 fans who traveled.

It’s the question everyone is asking though, can Burton gain back-to-back promotions into the Championship?
Game by game its seeming that the answer to that question is yes.
