Mid table Nottingham Forest welcome promotion chasing Sheffield Wednesday to The City Ground this afternoon with both sides looking to improve their recent poor runs of form.

The home side have lost four of their last five league matches while Wednesday have not registered a victory in their last five matches.

Nottingham Forest go into the match with doubts over attacking pair Jamie Ward and Henri Lansbury while striker Nelson Oliviera faces a late fitness test on a groin injury. Youngster Oliver Burke could feature despite having broken his hand.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to end a barren spell in front of goal and The Owls will welcome back much missed striker Fernando Forestieri for The City Ground clash after the player served his suspension. Wednesday Manager Carlos Carvalhal has no fresh injury concerns and a number of players are competing for first team recalls.

Dougie Freedman’s side are themselves enduring a poor run in front of goal netting just three times in their last seven league matches  With visitors Wednesday having failed to score in their last three league matches this afternoon’s clash could be a low scoring affair.
