Ipswich Town youngsters called into England squad

Ipswich Town have received the good news that two of their young academy stars have been given call ups to the England Under 17s squad according to the East Anglian Daily Times.

Youngsters Andre Dozzell and Ben Morris have both been given the opportunity to impress on the international stage once again.

The Young Lions face a trio of matches in the Elite EURO Qualifying Round and England face some tough opposition in the form of Ukraine, Turkey and Finland. The mini tournament’s schedule is a gruelling one with the matches taking place between 24-29 March.

Andre Dozzell is the son of Ipswich Town legend Jason Dozzell and plays in midfield while fellow Town team mate Ben Morris is a striker. Both players have featured for the Ipswich Town Under 18s side this season and are tipped to have big careers in the future.

England Under 17s play Turkey at The Proact Stadium (Chesterfield) on 24 March, Finland at Harrison Park (Leek Town) on 26 March and Ukraine at The Pirelli Stadium (Burton Albion) on 29 March.

Dozzell and Morris are joined in the England Under 17s squad by fellow Championship youngsters Ryan Sessegnon (defender) and Dennis Adeniran (midfielder) who are both on the books at Fulham.
