Wolves boss takes the blame for recent results

Under fire Wolverhampton Wanderers Manager Kenny Jackett has stated that he is responsible for the club’s recent poor form and is willing to take any criticism which is aimed at him according to the Express & Star.

The Molineux faithful aimed their frustrations towards Chief Executive Jez Moxey and want-away Owner Steve Morgan during Saturday’s disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Preston North End while Manager Kenny Jackett’s tactics also came in for some criticism.

Wanderers have failed to win in their last five matches while the club have won just four home fixtures this season. As Manager of the football club, Wolves boss Jackett insists that he is responsible for his side’s poor run of form.

“The responsibility goes with myself” Jackett admitted to the Express & Star.

“And it goes with the players. And if the supporters see on the pitch a good performance, a winning performance, a cohesive performance, then they’ll get behind the team.”

“And when they see what they don’t like, they won’t. I accept that.”

“It’s our responsibility to make sure that both performances and results pull us away from 12th and start to climb up into the upper reaches of the division” added Jackett.

Wolves’ next Championship fixture is against Huddersfield Town at The John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday.
