Two of the Championship’s mid table sides meet at Elland Road tomorrow as Leeds United face Nottingham Forest.
The match could be a tight encounter with few goals. Leeds United are the division’s lowest goal scorers on their own turf while visitors Nottingham Forest arrive in West Yorkshire having recorded three consecutive clean sheets.
The home side are sweating over the fitness of defenders Liam Cooper and Sol Bamba ahead of tomorrow’s match with both players set to face late fitness tests. Striker Chris Wood will definitely miss the match as he recovers from a hamstring injury but youngster Alex Mowatt is available after recovering from a dead leg.
Nottingham Forest have no new injury concerns for the visit to Leeds United. Manager Dougie Freedman will continue to be without striker Matty Fryatt who has an Achilles problem, midfielder Andy Reid who has a groin problem and defender Daniel Pinillos who is suffering from a knee injury
Leeds United have a poor recent record against tomorrow’s opponents having failed to beat Forest in their last six meetings and failing to score against them in their last two fixtures at Elland Road. Leeds United Manager Steve Evans will be looking to end that poor run tomorrow and build on The Whites’ unbeaten run of 3 matches.
