Twitter Reacts: Leeds United boss threatens to quit Elland Road

Following the news that Leeds United boss Steve Evans has threatened to leave his position as manager if the club fail to compete for promotion next season, Twitter was quick to throw up some interesting reactions…

Promotion this season is a long shot to say the least with the Whites currently sitting 12 points behind the play-off places.

The overruling reaction was one of dismay as to what the Scottish manager had said, with a lot of hate coming his way and not many believing what he said…

While others were appreciative of his honesty…

However with another January of promise and no delivery having passed, Leeds fans are not ones to easily forgive..

Evans only took charge of the Whites in the summer but has failed to endear himself to the Elland Road faithful under the controversy-driven management of Massimo Cellino.

A mid table finish looks most likely for the Yorkshire club this season and even next season promotion looks unlikely despite Evans’ ambitious claims.
