Cardiff sign striker from Vincent Tan-owned club

Slade has been looking to fill the void up front left following the departures of both Kenwyne Jones and Joe Mason, and has acted just before the deadline to sign the 15-cap Danish Under-21 international.

The player himself only signed for Kortrijk today himself, but was instantly loaned out after signing from Swedish club Odense. The Belgian club are owned by Vincent Tan, the current Cardiff City owner, after he purchased them for 5million euros in May 2015.

Yesterday Zohore turned 22 and has spent the majority of his career in Scandinavia. He began his career with Danish giants FC Copenhagen before earning himself a move to Serie A with Fiorentina. After struggling to make an impact in Florence, he enjoyed loan moves away with Brondby and IFK Goteburg respective, before making the move to Odense in 2015. He will now be hoping to score the goals required to propel the Bluebirds into a play-off position come May. He is set to make his debut this Saturday at home to MK Dons.
