Brentford midfielder declares his commitment to the club

Brentford midfield star Alan Judge has declared that he will stay at Griffin Park beyond the transfer window ending speculation that the player could join a rival Championship club according to Get West London.

The 27 year old midfielder has been subject to interest from Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month. Both clubs have seen transfer bids for the player rejected by The Bees.

Judge started his senior career with Blackburn Rovers but failed to make the grade at the Lancashire club and had spells on loan at Plymouth Argyle and Notts County before joining Notts County permanently in 2011. After a successful spell at Meadow Lane the midfielder returned to Blackburn Rovers in July 2013 and signed a three year contract with the Ewood Park club although the player again struggled to impress in the blue and white of Rovers.

The midfielder joined Brentford on loan in January 2014 and his move was made permanent that summer when the player signed a three year deal with The Bees for an undisclosed fee. Judge has starred for Brentford this season scoring 12 goals and providing 7 assists. Judge was named Championship Player of the Month in October.

Judge’s excellent performances for the West London club have attracted the interest of promotion rivals Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday but the midfielder has now insisted that he will remain a Brentford player until at least the summer.
