Reading and Preston to bid for League One star

Reading and Preston are lining up bids for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, reports the Daily Mail.

Bradshaw has 14 goals in 29 games for The Saddlers this season, after scoring 20 goals last campaign.

The 23 year old has 18 months left on his contract at Walsall, who are flying high in League One this season.

He signed for the West Midlands club in June 2015 and has consistently attracted interest from the second tier.

He was recalled to the Wales squad for their friendly in November against Holland will have his eyes set on a place in Chris Coleman’s squad at 2016.

It is now believed that Reading and Preston are both lining up bids for the highly rated striker, as they look to add firepower to their attacks before the end of January.

Walsall have been in superb form in League One this season, despite losing boss Dean Smith to Brentford earlier in the campaign.

They lie third in the table after 27 games, just a point off Gillingham who are top and with a game in hand.
