QPR plotting bid for French striker

QPR are planning to make a move for Enzo Crivelli from Bordeaux, according to West London Sport.

The French Under-21 international is seen as a potential replacement for Charlie Austin, who has finally left Loftus Road and made the move to Southampton.

The R’s are eager to tie up a deal for the youngster so that they are prepared for the second half of the season and plan to tempt Bordeaux to let him go by placing a bid of around £1m.

There are a number of other forwards who are on the club’s radar, despite the signing of Conor Washington last week. However, they still feel that they need more firepower and Crivelli is currently their top priority, with the club preparing to make the move for him in the next few days.

Crivelli has featured 23 times for Bordeaux this season so far, bagging himself three goals along the way. He’s shown plenty of promise for a 20-year old however, the one slight issue is his discipline – he’s also picked up 7 yellows and one straight red card this year too.
