Quartet chase signing of young Hull City star

Hull City Manager Steve Bruce looks set to loan out youngster Greg Luer with a quartet of lower division clubs chasing his signature according to the Hull Daily Mail.

The 21 year old was signed by Hull City twelve months ago after he impressed during a spell with non league side Burgess Hill Town. The striker is continuing to develop with The Tigers however Manager Steve Bruce is keen for the youngster to gain some regular playing time and it is understood that Barnsley, Peterborough United, Oxford United and Stevenage would all like to secure a loan move for the forward.

After signing for The Tigers last January, Luer failed to make an appearance for the club last season and made 2 appearances for Port Vale during a short loan spell. This season, Luer has again been on the fringes of the First Team at The KC Stadium and has made 6 appearances for the club scoring twice. The Brighton born forward’s goals have both come when playing in an under strength City side in the League Cup.

Luer is desperate to prove himself to Manager Steve Bruce and get a chance to impress in a Tigers side which is packed full of quality players and a loan move away from the club could give him that opportunity.
