England International to depart QPR

Queen’s Park Rangers look set to offload former England International Rob Green in the coming weeks, according to The Standard.

The former West Ham star has attracted Premier League interest from newcomers AFC Bournemouth, with The Cherries reportedly being dissapointed with the performances of Polish International Artur Boruc and Adam Federici.

The Standard also reported last week that Green was told by high ranked officials at the club to either find a new team to play for, or watch the rest of the season from home.

It is no secret that The Hoops have been struggling with Financial Fair Play as of recent times, and will look to remove Green’s hefty £40,000-per-week deal from their wage books.

The side have been very off form in the past few weeks, and remain winless in eight going into Saturday’s affair against Rotherham United, where Green will be very unlikely to feature.
