Reading are close to signing Bournemouth striker Yann Kermorgant on loan from the Premier League team, according to The Sun reporter Tom Barclay.
Kermorgant has failed to get much of a look in at Bournemouth so far this season, ever with the injury of their main attacking threat Callum Wilson. After only six Premier League appearances, he looks set to leave the club on loan and return to the Championship.

The striker scored 17 goals in 38 league appearances for Bournemouth last season, helping out the team greatly in their ultimately successful push for promotion.
Kermorgant was a proven goalscorer before joining Bournemouth however, and scored 29 goals in 78 starts for Charlton Athletic in the Championship. Reading will be hoping that the player can rediscover this form and become a suitable replacement for Nick Blackman, who left the club for Derby County this month.
Bournemouth have signed two strikers so far this month; Benik Afobe from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Lewis Grabban from Norwich City. These moves are understood to have opened the door to Kermorgant’s exit from Dean Court.
