Mark Davies proposed move from Bolton Wanderers to Sheffield Wednesday is back on, according to Sheffield Star journalist Dom Howson.

He reports that the personal terms issue that had put the move in doubt has been resolved.

It is understood that if Davies passes his Wednesday medical, he will sign a two and a half year contract.

The deal could go through in the next 24 hours.

Bolton News reporter Marc Iles has reported that the fee for Davies will be minimal, if anything at all.

Bolton are in dire financial straights and are keen to save money by getting big earners off the wage bill, a category that Davies falls into.

Striker Zach Clough is also expected to leave the Macron this window and Dorian Dervite and Dean Moxey have been linked with moves away.

The resurrection of the Davies deal is a boost for Wednesday, who are just a place outside the play-offs in the second tier.
