Sheffield United are considering a third bid for Fulham defender Dan Burn after failing with two previous offers, according to The Star.
The League One club have tried to sign Burn from Fulham twice previously but have failed in both attempts, with Fulham instead deciding to keep the player at Craven Cottage. However with Slavisa Jokanovic’s recent appointment at the London club, Sheffield United could try to sign the defender again.
Any offer could just be rejected again by Fulham, with Burn having regained his place in the team recently. The central defender has started the last five games.
Jokanovic has only recently taken over at the club, who are now under transfer embargo, and may decide to sell Burns in order to raise funds to get the embargo lifted.
Fulham were placed under the embargo after breaking Financial Fair Play rules meaning they are now under certain restrictions when it comes to making signings.
