Top Championship clubs chasing Bolton Striker

Sheffield Wednesday are looking at restrengthening their side by bringing in Bolton Wanderers striker, Zack Clough, according to The Star.

The Bolton academy graduate has certainly impressed this season, bringing a great and very much needed burst of skill, technique and flair to The Reebok.

Wanderers have been very poor this season, sitting bottom of the table, perhaps having their on field performances affected by the off pitch troubles with a financial crisis in full swing at the club.

It has been reported that the Greater Manchester outfit will be forced to sell some of their highest rated players in Josh Vela, Craig Davies, and the 20-year-old himself.

Reading are also rumoured to be interested in Clough and may look to fill in the hole left by new Derby signing, Nick Blackman.

There has been minimal interest in Clough from some Premier League sides, with Watford and Bournemouth both reportedly having the teenager on their radar, although a move does seem quite unlikely.

The team have an outlet to forget about their worrying Championship record in the form of an away FA Cup tie at Non-League Eastleigh on Saturday.
