Roma offer contract to Championship striker

Roma have made Fulham striker Moussa Dembele a pre-contact offer to join the Italian club at the end of the season, according to a report.

Dembele has been in great form for Fulham of late, and has scored ten goals in 22 appearances for the club this season.  This record has attracted lots of interest from big clubs, with Manchester United and Juventus both being linked with the player recently.

The striker’s contract with Fulham expires at the end of the season, meaning that Dembele will be able to leave Fulham for a nominal fee if he signs for another club.

It is understood that Italian side Roma have made their interest known to the player and have offered the 19-year-old a contract for him to join up with the side next season.

If Dembele does decide to leave England for Italy, it won’t be the first time he has been on the books of one of Europe’s biggest clubs.  The striker spent eight years playing in the PSG academy before joining Fulham.
