Leeds United were spared from an embarrassing defeat at home to struggling MK Dons after Antony Kay converted into his own net in the dying embers of the match.

Rob Hall put the Dons ahead after 30 minutes with a very impressive conversion from an even more impressive ball from Nicky Maynard. It seemed as if The Dons were heading back south with all three points before club captain Kay converted a very impressive header – into his own net. Instead of heading the ball out of the area and clear, Kay decided to try and find his goalkeeper, but found the back of the net instead. Leeds now sit 13th, while MK Dons are struggling to find their feet and sit just two points outside of the relegation zone.

Fair to say that Leeds supporters weren’t happy with the performance today:
