Steve Evans always said that there would be changes for the Derby County game, what with the hard-fought draw with Nottingham Forest barely 48 hours ago. With the following team news (below), Evans was true to his word with two changes.

These are the only two changes that head coach Steve Evans has made to the Forest team, the rest of the starting 11 retaining their places against a Derby side who include ex-Leeds players Bradley Johnson and Stephen Warnock, who is captain for the night. It is still a strong Derby line-up with ex-Premier League players sprinkled throughout the starting line-up that Leeds United will face in a game that is now bearing down on both teams.

The brining back of club captain Sol Bamba, in place of Giuseppe Bellusci, and Tom Adeyemi, in place of Lewis Cook, with both replaced players dropping to the bench, has received mixed blessings on Twitter where Leeds United fans are giving their opinions on the changes that Steve Evans has made for this game.

Comments from Leeds fans seem to centre around Chris Wood’s continue inclusion in the Leeds United starting 11 with many Leeds fans feeling disgruntled at a perceived lack of acumen in front of goal from the big Kiwi striker.
