Wolves star linked to Premier League

Norwich City are reportedly willing to pay £12m to bring Wolves star striker Benik Afobe to Carrow Road, according to The Eastern Daily Press.

According to the report, Norwich are desperate to finally secure the signature of the former Arsenal man, after having three bids rejected in the summer.

The 22-year-old has scored 10 goals for Wolves this season, despite the fact his club have struggled in the second tier and that his first team opportunities have been limited this campaign.

Norwich boss Alex Neil is in the hunt for a striker to help their his sides survival battle and also has apparent interest in Utrecht’s Sebastien Haller and Sampdoria’s Eder.

However, Wolves poor start and the fact that owner Steve Morgan has put his club up for sale could mean that the Championship side are now willing to cash in on their star man.

Norwich are currently 16th in the Premier League and are likely to face a battle to stay up. Wolves are 17th in The Sky Bet Championship, despite being amongst the pre season favourites to go up.
