Fulham in talks with Tel Aviv manager

Fulham are reportedly interested in filling their vacant managerial position with former Watford boss, Slavisa Jokanovic, according to 1One.

The ex-Chelsea midfielder worked wonders with The Hornets last season, securing promotion to the Premier League.

Jokanovic has took up his first managerial pole at Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade, before managing Thai side Muanghthong United, Levski Sofia, Hércules, and today, Israeli Champions Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The former Serbian international has reportedly agreed to join the West London side, with only matters of compensation left to discuss between Fulham and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The cottagers have greatly struggled to supply for the demand of their supporters this season, currently sitting in 18th place after a greatly disappointing draw at bottom of the league, Bolton Wanderers.

After sacking manger Kit Symons in November following an awful run, culminating in a 5-2 home defeat against Birmingham City, Fulham waited a month before appointed former Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray, insisting that he is only a temporary adjustment.

Gray also hasn’t done much to improve the struggling whites, with a return of two points in three matches.

Things don’t look to be getting any brighter for Fulham, as a trip north to Derby anticipates them next Saturday. If the appointment of Jokanovic is confirmed before then, we may have a great upset on our hands.
