West Brom Set To Offer Former Fulham Man Premier League Return

West Bromwich Albion are looking into offering ex-Fulham forward Kerim Frei a Premier League return should they miss out on £7 million rated QPR winger Matt Phillips in the January transfer window.

Frei, currently at Besiktas, according to the Mirror, is now a prime target for Baggies manager Tony Pulis as the Turkish club are looking to off-load him on loan to the Premier League next month.

West Brom will only make the move however should they fail in their quest to entice Phillips to the Hawthorns after the move collapsed in September when Saido Berahino stayed put in the West Midlands.

Frei offers previous Premier League experience after spending two season at Craven Cottage where he played 23 times for the club.

The 22-year old boasts pace and a great deal of potential and is available after being frozen out at the Istanbul club.

Newcastle and Norwich are also thought to be interested in Frei’s services.
