Will he, won’t he? That was the game that Leeds United fans had been playing since Liam Bridcutt signed on an emergency loan last week for the Whites. With team news being confirmed by the club’s official Twitter site, Leeds fans are put out of their misery as it is a case of ‘he will’; Bridcutt being named in the line-up for today’s game vs. QPR.
#lufc team vs @QPRFC | Silvestri, Wootton, Bellusci, Cooper, Taylor, Dallas, Bridcutt, Cook, Mowatt, Antenucci, Wood.

Alongside Bridcutt’s debut, Leeds United also welcome back the timely arrival of left back Charlie Taylor to the starting line-up with Gaetano Berardi starting the first of his two games on the sideline as a result of his reduced ban for retaliation to the Leon Best elbow in Leeds’ last game, a 1-0 defeat to Rotherham.
Other than those two changes, Leeds United retain the bulk of the same starting 11 who began the game against Rotherham, with again Sam Byram having to settle for a place on the bench with Scott Wootton being preferred in the right-back spot.
With Bridcutt’s inclusion in the starting line-up, at the expense of Luke Murphy dropping to the bench, there has obviously been reaction from Leeds fans as to this, none more so than on Twitter.

Some aren’t so happy at the inclusion of the on-loan Sunderland midfielder though,
@LUFC @QPRFC Bridcutt hasnt played since April and waltzes straight in, absolute joke.

With kick-off just over 30 minutes away, it looks likely that Leeds United fans will have to wait for 120 minues to form their true first opinions of the ex-Brighton, now Sunderland player.
