QPR closing in on Chris Ramsey’s successor

Queens Park Rangers are closing in on appointing Burton Albion boss Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink as the club’s new manager, according to The Sun.

QPR have been looking for a new manager since they sacked former boss Chris Ramsey, and another former boss in the shape of Neil Warnock has been doing the job of interim manager at the club until they find a new man.

The team lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough on Friday night, although Neil Warnock missed the game due to personal reasons.

QPR are now reportedly closing in on Hasselbaink, who is keen to take over at the club who are looking to be promoted this year after a relegation last term.

Hasselbaink has had a great start to his managerial career and led Burton Albion to promotion from League Two last season.  This season the club have endured similar success and currently sit in fourth place in the League One table.
