Swindon Town striker extends loan at Gloucester City

Swindon Town striker Josh Cooke has extended his loan deal at Gloucester City for a further month, the National League North club have confirmed.

The young forward, 18, has impressed with his performances since joining the Tigers on loan last month. Cooke has scored three goals so far during his loan spell including the last minute equaliser away to Tamworth on Saturday.

Cooke has currently made just two appearances for his parent club without scoring and new Swindon boss Martin Ling is willing to let his young striker stay out on loan while he continues to try and turn around the fortunes of the Wiltshire club. With just three wins so far this season, the Robins are currently just one place off the foot of the League One table.
