ATTENDANCES: Championship Away Attendance Week 15

With the FA Cup giving us a break from League One and Two football this weekend, it’s a great time to update our Away Attendances Table, along with averages and growth/decrease in away support.

It’s amazing to see how many fans support their clubs no matter where they are in the country. This season, there has been over 1/4 of a million away days trips in the Championship alone. THIS is why we fill the FL72 niche. The fans, the numbers, the passion. Unbeatable!

Top 5 attendances this week:

Leeds at Huddersfield: 3931
Birmingham at Fulham: 3905
Wednesday at Charlton: 3075
Boro at Hull: 2554
Derby at Forest: 1951

Reading’s support is up nearly 83% on last season’s following which is mightily impressive! Brighton are up nearly a half! Meanwhile, Brentford are down almost 50%.

With more great weeks in the bag, Leeds are running away with the Average Away Attendance crown, leaving it difficult to be caught by the likes of Boro, Derby or Wednesday!

The table below has the latest week’s fixtures in yellow! Click to enlarge.
