Championship clubs sending scouts to Europa League clash

Five Championship clubs will be sending scouts to the Europa League clash between Club Brugge and Legia Warsaw on Thursday evening, voetbalnieuws is reporting.

Scouts from Bolton Wanderers, Brighton, Hull City, Queens Park Rangers and Reading are all sending scouts over to Belgium to watch the game between the two sides.

They will be joined by footballing giants with scouts from Barcelona, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund all being in attendance too.

At this stage it is unclear who the scouts will be taking a keen interest in, 24-year-old forward Abdoulaye Diaby is enjoying an impressive start to the season with 8 goals in 12 games. The more likely player they will be watching is 20-year-old winger Tuur Dierckx, who may attract interest due to his good form recently, he’s scored four and assisted one in 13 games so far this season.

Scouts from as many as 39 clubs will be watching the game on Thursday night. Whoever is attracting the interest will certainly need to put in a good performance.
