Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has said that rival Birmingham boss Gary Rowett is destined for a job in the Premier League, according to a report.
The two sides meet in the Championship tonight with Rowett looking to avoid a third-straight defeat for the first time since taking over at Birmingham, whilst Blackburn are looking for back-to-back away wins.
Rowett had success in League Two with Burton Albion, twice leading them into the play-offs, before leaving to join Birmingham in October 2014.
Since joining Birmingham Rowett has steered the club away from the relegation places and towards the play-offs, with the club currently sitting in sixth place in the Championship.
Matters off the field have improved also, with Birmingham slashing their debt this season, leaving the club in an healthier overall position.
Blackburn Rovers had an average start to the season but a 2-0 away win at Leeds United will no doubt encourage the players that they can go out and get a similar result tonight as they look to climb the table.
