Preston and Bolton met for the first time since 2001 on Saturday and in the end, neither side could claim the three points, with the two teams playing out a 0-0 draw.
It was a scrappy game of football, with chances at either end that could have stolen all three points for either side. But, when it came down to it, neither side could capitalise and it resulted in a 0-0 draw.
With the draw (and point) it leaves PNE in 18th place on 13 points, which isn’t too bad considering the club are newly-promoted from League 1. As for Bolton, they remain in the relegation zone but they now sit in 22nd place.
The focus of this article though is Preston fans and how did they react to the 0-0 draw against their rivals?
It was once again a mixed bag on the Lilywhite’s Twitter, with some looking at the positive side of things and others claiming it simply wasn’t good enough. Many were happy with the fact Preston claimed a point and also another clean sheet…
Disappointed we couldn't pick up the win yesterday, but another clean sheet was a positive, looked strong at the back #utw #pnefc

Point closer to safety! Look a solid team, but just lack a cutting edge #pnefc

But many more were unhappy with the scrappy performance, claiming it was ‘boring’ and that it was perhaps time to change things up…
If Grayson isn't going to let the shackles off and let the team attack with purpose at Deepdale then he needs to go. Now. #pnefc

Honestly think it may be best to sack Grayson , standard of football on offer at deepdale is shocking . #pnefc

You can argue and say what you want but the facts are that 80% of the squad isn't good enough for the championship. #PNEFC

Is is time for a change? Is Grayson to blame or is the players? Or even both? Or is everyone getting too carried away? Let us know what you think on our social media and by commenting below!
