Forest midfielder Ebecilio reveals injury problem

Nottingham Forest midfielder Kyle Ebecilio has taken to Twitter to reveal that he will be out for at least four weeks through injury. He suffered a hamstring problem in Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Hull City.

The 21-year-old summer loan signing from Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente, was a second half substitute but had to be replaced on 77 minutes by Jamie Ward. He has so far made five appearances for the City Ground club, the first being at the end of August in the 1-1 away draw against Bolton Wanderers.

He joins the likes of Britt Assombalonga, Chris Cohen and Andy Reid as being out of action because of injury. Those three unfortunately won’t be back until early next year and in Cohen’s case the beginning of next season. Thankfully for Ebecilio, he should be back in action well in time for the hectic Christmas schedule.

The international break has perhaps come at a good time for Dougie Freedman’s men, to allow several knocks and bruises to heal before they next take to the pitch again. Their next game comes on Friday 16th October when they travel to bottom of the table Bristol City.
