Kit Symons’ Fulham threw away yet another potential three points when Jordan Cousins netted a 95th-minute header to grab Charlton a point in a 2-2 draw at the Valley.
Charlton could have very easily gone 1-0 up in the first minute, but Connor McAleny couldn’t convert the chance.
Fulham quickly got back into the game, retaining alot of possession at the Valley. It was Ryan Tunnicliffe who opened the scoring just after the half hour mark. Ross McCormack’s cross was spilled only into the path of Tunnicliffe who put his shot away from close range.
Moussa Dembélé rattled the crossbar with a long-range rocket of a shot and soon after Tunnicliffe turned provider, playing in Ross McCormack to double the visitors’ lead. The game honestly looked over for the Addicks, as the travelling Fulham support were making as much noise as possible.
However, Charlton mounted an incredible comeback with substitute Johnnie Jackson powering home a towering header from an inswinging Charlton corner to kickstart the comeback. 5 minutes into added time, Jordan Cousins completed the fight-back when he threw himself at a late cross into the area and bundled the ball home, earning a point for Guy Luzon’s side and steering them clear of the relegation zone.
