Ex-Liverpool winger in hope to sign for Bolton

Former Liverpool and Huddersfield Town winger Adam Hammill is currently on trial for Bolton Wanderers in hope to sign a short-term contract with the club, The Bolton News understands.

Hammill, who was once a member of the Liverpool development squad alongside Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jay Spearing, is ready to get back into the action with desire to sign for Bolton.

Bolton boss Neil Lennon is also expected to offer ex-Newcastle winger Shola Ameobi a contract which will last him to the end of the season. With Nigerian international Ameobi and Ex-Liverpool winger Hammill on the tip of the tongue of Bolton fans, if the deals turn out to be successful, expect a warm welcome from them to the Macron Stadium.

The 27 year old has plenty of experience in both the Premier League and Championship and should bring a lot of attacking purpose to the Macron Stadium, considering their form and league standing, sitting one place above the Championship relegation zone. Only time will tell if negotiations with the player and club will be successful.
