Barnet
Barnet are very Jekyll and Hyde so far this season in that they are very solid at home but dreadful on the road. Martin Allen will be extremely frustrated by this but also very annoyed as they are shipped far too many goals on their travels. They took the lead at Plymouth Argyle last night but they still couldn’t hold on for a point; losing 2-1. They have the joint worst defence in the league and the worst away form by far. They’ve also taken the lead at Portsmouth and failed to win as well. It is noticeable to see that they are conceding too many goals late on in matches as well. Perhaps they do need to change the way they play compared to being at home, they would favour a counter attacking game. They clearly start games well so perhaps they could do with an experienced midfield to bring on later in the game to help them out. Signing experienced players in the loan market is never easy but being based in the London area will give Barnet the chance to attract some decent individuals at least.
