I have spoken to Chris Powell and it’s a good opportunity for all us of; he said that they needed a centre-half and I needed to play games so it’s a good fit.”

The former Coventry City and Norwich City made has one appearances shy of 250 games in the Championship throughout his career. Although he has been out-of-favour with Eddie Howe a Dean Court, he had a full pre-season and took part in a friendly game as recently as Friday. Last season was frustrating, I was out for a time with injury but I got back fit and the lads were doing really well so I was sub from January onwards – it was frustrating on one side but it was a great achievement from the team (Bournemouth) and it was great to be involved in.”
