Queens Park Rangers strengthen with Watford defender

QPR have confirmed the loan signing of Watford defender Gabriele Angella on a season-long loan deal.

Angella, 26, has been a regular in the Watford defence since joining the Hornets in 2013 from partner club Udinese.

At the time Angella signed a five-year deal at Vicarage Road and in his two seasons at the club he has played 75 league games and also popped up with nine goals.

He has not been seen as part of new manager Quique Sanchez Flores plans at Watford having only featured in the League Cup.

In other news, Queens Park Rangers seem to be sticking to their word that Charlie Austin will not be leaving the club with no reports suggesting a club has come close to their £15m valuation of the star striker.
