Wales Online have broke the news that Idriss Saadi has joined Cardiff for a ‘small fee’.
Saadi scored 18 times in 39 games for Clermont Foot; a respectable record for a young forward. Very little else is known about the French-born striker over here, other than that he is nicknamed ‘The Bull’.
Russell Slade has clearly done his homework and swooped for Saadi before the French deadline – which is this evening – and Cardiff fans will be hoping his diligence pays off.
He was seen as an exciting player last year, but injury cut short an impressive start to his season, as he scored 11 in 22 before suffering ligament damage.
