Team news vs Shrewsbury Town

Today the Bantams entertain Shrewsbury Town at Valley Parade in what is their first home league game of the season. On the back of their much-vaunted discount season ticket take-up, Bradford City will be hoping to be roared on by a huge crowd this afternoon.

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made five changes to the team that went out to York City in Tuesday’s Capital Cup first round. In going out in the first round, City lost to York on penalties. In comes skipper Stephen Darby and fellow full back James Meredith alongside Josh Morris and strikers James Hanson and Billy Clarke.
