Brentford have completed the signing of Anderlecht defender Maxime Colin.
Colin has signed a four-year deal with the Bees keeping him with Brentford until 2019.
The French right-back started his career in Ligue 2 with Boulogne before moving to Troyes in Ligue 1. He joined Anderlecht last year and made a total of 25 appearances in the Belgian top division. Colin was also capped 7 times for France under-20s.
Brentford manager Marinus Dijkhuizen told the official website: “Maxime has experience of playing at a good level with Anderlecht. He is an athletic defender who is also comfortable at the ball.”
Phil Giles, Brentford Co-Director of Football, dded: “On behalf at everyone at Brentford I’d like to welcome Maxime to the club.”
The club recently lost first choice right-back Moses Odubajo to Hull City and have moved to bring in a quality replacement quickly and will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s game away to Bristol City.
