Leeds United’s deal for Tottenham midfielder Milos Veljkovic is near collapse after the two sides could not agree on the amount of game-time the 19-year-old would get at Elland Road, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Phil Hay.
No further movement with Leeds' interest in Spurs midfielder Milos Veljkovic. Looks like that one won't happen. #lufc

Leeds had been linked with a move for the Spurs youngster earlier this week, and a deal appeared to be close at one stage. As it turns out, Leeds and Tottenham couldn’t agree on the length of the loan and the amount of game time that Veljkovic would receive.
Tottenham wanted Leeds to take the youth squad star on a minimum six-month loan to help aid his development. The Whites were unable to commit to a deal for that length of time, instead they preferred to take the midfielder on-loan for an initial one-month period as short-term cover.
Whilst this deal looks unlikely to happen, it does show Leeds owner Massimo Cellino’s changing attitude to the loan market. Previously, the Italian would only allow loans if a permanent option was included at the end. This deal did not have that, and with it being on a very short-term basis, it possibly suggests that Cellino is willing to change his own footballing beliefs to bring success to the West Yorkshire club.
