According to a report yesterday, Millwall boss Neil Harris is interested in signing Shrewsbury defender Connor Goldson.
Goldson is a centre back but can also play right back and in the centre of midfield. At 22, he is a player with lots of potential but already has lots of experience, having played 122 games already in his career.
At 6 ft 3 in, Goldson is quite a physical presence for attackers and this was a factor in his good form last season for Shrewsbury. Goldson played 51 times for the club, scoring 7 goals as Shrewsbury were promoted back to League 1.
Goldson has already played against Millwall this season, in a 1-2 defeat to the club yesterday.
Millwall are considered favorites for promotion from League 1 this season.
