Newcastle United winger Shane Ferguson signs for The Lions on a short term loan deal.
The 24-year-old came through the ranks at Newcastle and made his senior debut in a League Cup game against Accrington back in 2010. He also had two successful loan spells at Birmingham City, and a short term loan with Scottish side, Rangers last season.
Neil Harris told millwallfc.co.uk “We’re delighted to be getting Shane on board. He is a player who has picked up vast experience in recent seasons playing in the Premier League, the Championship and at international level.”
“Shane is a great acquisition to the squad. He has natural left-footed ability and can provide terrific deliveries into the box.”
“He is equally comfortable playing at left-back as he is on the left-wing so that kind of versatility will be very important to us, especially at a time when Joe Martin isn’t available.”
