Portsmouth remain heavy backed favourites for promotion this season, and it does seem like the sleeping giants in League Two are finally going to wake up.
With gates that regularly reach over 3 times of other clubs in the division, there is no surprise that boss Paul Cook is able bring in players such as Gary Roberts and Adam McGurk, both of which have been leading figures in their previous clubs promotion winning team.
It’s could be seen as a case of when Portsmouth will be promoted rather than if, and this season they look the best by a long way! They are priced around 7/2 to lift the title.
