Bradford City: Interview with a Bantam fan

Yesterday, I decided to revisit times gone by and ask a Bradford City fan about their view of the upcoming League One campaign, their hopes, their fears and their aspirations. I say ‘revisit times gone by, because Bradford City were the first football league team I ever saw play. This was in the late 70s and early 80s when players like Ces Podd were turning out for the Bantams. I used to stand huddled in the stand backing onto Holywell Ash Lane (I think that’s what it was called) and I swear blind that they used to open these big doors after half time and let people in free, but that could be my overactive young mind.

Anyway, after tweeting out and asking for a Bantam fan to step into the breech, one replied and it’s thanks to Connor Whyte that I have a fan-insight into Bradford City as they ready themselves for another crack at promotion to the Championship.
