Wolves target England international

Wolves have looked towards Brighton and England under-21 midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey as a potential transfer target, according to the Express and Star.

The 21-year-old was a star player for the Seagulls last season and as a result regularly featured for Gareth Southgate’s England under-21 side.

Forster-Caskey made 33 appearances in all competitions for the south coast Championship club last season, scoring 3 and helping out with 1 assist. In total he has made 78 appearances for Brighton where he has scored 8 goals.

On the international side of things, he has 13 England under-21 caps where he has scored 1 goal. He has been represented England at all levels from under-16 to under-21.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is looking to strengthen his side after just missing out on the play-offs last season. The West Midlands side have already made 3 new additions this summer, Conor Coady joining from Championship rivals Huddersfield, Jed Wallace from Portsmouth and Sylvain Deslandes who they signed from SM Caen in France.
