Bolton fans make bold attempt to bring striker back

Today a collection has been set up by a Bolton fan to bring former loanee, Adam Le Fondre back to the club.

After making 17 appearances and scoring 8 goals for the Lancashire club, Le Fondre is wanted at the club and the fans are doing as much as they can to make it happen.

It has become apparent this week that the former Reading forward has been told to train with the reserves by boss Russell Slade, while his first team squad go out and play their friendlies. He was signed by Cardiff at the start of last season and only scored 3 goals in 21 appearances. He then showed his true class he has shown throughout his career when he joined Bolton on loan.

It is also rumoured the Rotherham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in the striker.

As of 2:15pm today, the donation page has raised £145. The fans are believing that £500k will be enough to bring the striker back to Bolton. If they don’t make the target the money will be going to charity so it’s all for a worthy cause.
