Hull full back keen to develop further

Andrew Robertson is hoping to continue learning at Hull City despite relegation to the Championship.

The Scottish international impressed last season, which was his first in England after moving to Hull from Dundee United last summer.

It was a breakthrough season for Robertson, he played in the majority of City’s league games and scored his first international goal in Scotland’s friendly defeat to England last November.

Robertson is looking to improve, even after his great season and is not downbeat after the club’s relegation.

“Last season was a massive roller-coaster.” Robertson told the club’s website.

“There were many highs and obviously the biggest low was at the end of the season. But I wouldn’t change it. I learned a lot over last season. That will be good going forward into this season and hopefully I can prove that on the pitch.

“As a person you are on your own down here and you’ve got to learn things a lot quicker. As a player I think I have improved. There’s a lot more still to do and I will keep working hard on that this season. We will all be working hard in training, trying to get the weaknesses into strengths and if we can do that we will be pushing in the right direction.”
