Leeds end interest in former Chelsea keeper

It is being reported that Leeds have ended their interest in former Chelsea goalkeeper Ross Turnbull.

Reports emerged last week that Leeds were keen on the Barnsley goalkeeper in their attempts to bring another goalkeeper to Elland Road this summer.  Leeds boss Uwe Rosler is supposedly looking to bring in a goalkeeper with plenty of experience to provide back up for Marco Silvestri.

Leeds have already signed a goalkeeper this summer; Charlie Horton from Cardiff City.  However the American, 20, is seen as being a future Leeds United goalkeeper, who won’t get much of a look in at the moment.

Turnbull has been at current club Barnsley for one season and if he remains for another, he will be part of a battle for the number one spot with fellow goalkeepers Christian Dibble and Adam Davies.

Leeds on the other hand, are believed to now be looking elsewhere.
