QPR’s plans start to unRavel

Ravel Morrison’s move to QPR appears to have hit a snag.

QPR were trying to bring the controversial midfielder back to London before he even played a game for Lazio, but it now appears that the deal will not go ahead.

Morrison’s career seems to have hit a snag as well – the midfielder is clearly talented but has attitude problems which have affected his development.

After a successful spell at Birmingham City, and then briefly at West Ham, Ravel’s career started to go downhill. However, if he gets his head down and plays, he has enough time to become a very, very good player.

Having seen him play for Birmingham, and against them for West Ham, it’s pretty clear that he has all the tools to make it at the top level; he drifts past defenders like they aren’t there, can pick a pass and has shown he can finish as well. That said, if he doesn’t find somewhere to play consistently, he will never show that.
