Queens Park Rangers have today rejected a £12 million bid from Leicester for striker Charlie Austin.
Austin scored nearly half of his club’s goals last season, proving himself as a Premier League player.
As Queens Park Ranger’s battle for survival proved ultimately unsuccessful, a host of clubs including Newcastle and Crystal Palace are hoping for Austin’s signature. However Austin still has a year left on his current deal and QPR are not keen on him leaving.
The club is said to be waiting for a bid of £15 million for Austin before opening talks with any potential suitors and pairing Austin’s form last season with his England call-up last month, it surely can’t be long before someone meets this price.
